Marion Carrillo is a singer songwriter born and raised in Albuquerque, NM with musical influences from many generations and genres. His music is a blend of storytelling, humor, social critique, and honest reflection.

From Louis Prima to Todd Snider, Carrillo’s eclectic tastes are apparent in the themes of his songs, the stories he tells, and his musical stylings. After being convinced to drop his pursuit of a Philosophy degree, Marion spent half a decade traveling (via plane, train, automobile, and thumb), working, and volunteering around Australia, Europe, North Africa, and all across the United States. Eventually he realized that music was and always had been his passion. He returned home to New Mexico in 2016 to pursue songwriting with gusto.

In 2018 he got sober and met Ed Harrington, of Hurt Mesa Music, who would go on to produce his first album. The same year Marion played a small tour across the southern United States at a variety of venues including the Devil’s Backbone Tavern in San Marcos, TX and the Flora-bama in Perdido, FL. In October of 2018 he made a small debut in London, UK for two nights and in January 2021 he released?  his first album entitled “Full Glory”. He currently resides in Albuquerque with his partner and dog.
